HERiTAG Partner Georgian Technical University (GTU) successfully procured the 3D laser scanning equipment, packaged with software and accessories.
After an international tender the equipment were delivered by FARO Swiss Holding GmbH from Switzerland. The equipment consist of:
> One 3D laser scanner FARO FocusS 150
> Six point cloud processing software FARO SCENE 7
> One 3D geovisualisation & photogrammetry software FARO PointSense Heritage 18.5 for AutoCAD
> One tripod, lightweight carbon fiber
> And one FARO SuperSphere kit with 5 registration spheres
The owner of the equipment is GTU and they operate jointly with Georgian partners ISU, NACHPG and GeoG within the framework of HERiTAG Geoinformation and Tourism Technology Centre (GTTC) in Georgia.
