2.1 Interdisciplinary curricula reform at master level in GIT and Tourism economics

An interdisciplinary curricula reform at master level in GIT and Tourism economics was done. First, a new master curricula was developed in each partner university to introduce new courses for specialisation in GIT applied to cultural heritage and tourism (NUACA and GTU) and, a second one in cultural tourism and entrepreneurship incorporating GIS (ASUE, GSU, BSU and ISU). It was conducted by following:

– Evaluation of needs and opportunities for education in GIT and Tourism from the deliverable 1.2, with participation of students
– Analysis of existing curricula and introduction of new GIS technology courses in ISU, ASUE, BSU and GSU; and new courses in GIT applications in tourism, and entrepreneurship in NUACA and GTU.
– Definition of key topics for interdisciplinary master thesis.
– Definition of final structure of masters with new specialities introduced.
