In the framework of Erasmus+ CBHE project “Higher Education Interdisciplinary Reform in Tourism management and Applied Geoinformation Curricula” a new GeoInformation Technologies Lab (GIT) was established and opened at the Tourism Faculty from Shota Rustaveli Batumi State University (BSU) devoted to train professionals in GIT applied to cultural heritage and tourism, to document architectural and historical monuments and mapping mountainous regions, and to disseminate the history, culture and landscapes using modern geovisualization techniques in the new created learning courses – Cultural Tourism, Tour Guiding, Management of Cultural Heritage.
