A new training course in “Introduction to GIS for tourism” started in December 13th 2018 in Goris State University, as part of the activities of the project HERITAG. This course, taught by Mashtots Avetisyan from Scientific and Educational Reforms Foundation (SERF), partner of HERITAG, is followed by students from the new master program in Tourism Management as well as some academic staff, and takes place in the new and fully equipped laboratory for GIS officially opened last May by HERITAG members (link).
